Meet Christine

Founder

Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Christine developed her instincts working with dogs that others had given up on. With over 20 years of experience rooted in obedience and behavior, she has dedicated her life to transforming chaos into calm, confusion into clarity, and stress into structure. Her work reflects the core pillars of The Canine Code: obedience, behavior, and balance.

Christine operates on one simple truth: a dog doesn’t just "behave"—he obeys. Dogs don’t rationalize actions like humans; they follow energy, leadership, and clear direction. While a dog can be excited, without rules and boundaries, that energy often manifests as misbehavior. Christine teaches dogs how to shift their state of mind—not just stopping a symptom, but changing the energy behind it.

Her approach is balanced and rooted in communication, not control. She helps dogs find calm through structure and empowers owners to step into the leadership role their dogs crave. Whether addressing reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or foundational obedience, Christine creates lasting results by helping both ends of the leash finally speak the same language.

At The Canine Code, Christine trains with purpose. She isn’t here to teach tricks—she is here to build trust, restore respect, and bring harmony back to the home.

Meet Emma

Head Trainer at The Canine Code, Emma is a force of conviction and compassion. Grounded and intuitive, she is fiercely dedicated to a single mission: making a difference, one dog at a time.

When her parents once told her, “You can’t save them all,” Emma didn’t argue. She simply asked, “Why not?” That question defines her career. From rescuing and rehabilitating dogs with difficult pasts to navigating complex cases of fear and aggression, Emma sees potential where others see "lost causes."

Her training style is rooted in clarity, structure, and emotional connection. Emma’s calm, confident presence helps bring dogs back into balance and empowers owners to lead with confidence.

To Emma, a second chance is always worth the work. Ask anyone who has seen her in action—human or canine—and they’ll tell you the same: Emma doesn’t just train dogs; she connects with them. And so far, there hasn't been a dog she's met that didn't agree—usually with a kiss.
