Meet Christine

Founder

Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Christine developed her instincts working with dogs’ others had given up on. With over 20 years of experience and a background rooted in obedience and behavior, she has dedicated her life to transforming chaos into calm, confusion into clarity, and stress into structure. Her work reflects the true purpose of The Canine Code: obedience, behavior, and balance.

Christine knows one simple truth: a dog doesn’t behave — he obeys. Dogs don’t rationalize their actions in the way humans do. They follow energy, leadership, and clear direction. A dog can be excited, but without rules and boundaries, that excitement can turn into misbehavior. She teaches dogs how to shift their state of mind — not just stop a behavior but change the energy behind it.

Her approach is balanced and rooted in communication, not control. She helps dogs find calm through structure and helps owners’ step into the leadership role their dog is waiting for. Whether addressing reactivity, aggression, anxiety, or obedience, Christine creates lasting results by helping both ends of the leash speak the same language.

At The Canine Code, Christine trains with purpose. She’s not here to train tricks — she’s here to build trust and respect, teach and restore harmony between people and their dogs.

Meet Emma

She’s a trainer with conviction, compassion, and a relentless drive to make a difference — one dog at a time.

As Head Trainer at The Canine Code, Emma brings her own unique energy to the pack: grounded, intuitive, and fiercely dedicated to every dog she meets.

When her parents once told her, “You can’t save them all,” Emma didn’t argue — she simply answered, “Why not?” That question became her mission. Emma has spent time rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs with difficult pasts. Because to her, saving one life is still saving a life — and giving one dog a second chance is always worth it.

Emma’s training style is rooted in clarity, structure, and emotional connection. She is known for working with complex cases involving fear, anxiety, reactivity, and aggression. Her calm, confident presence brings dogs back into balance — and gives owners the tools to lead with confidence.

While her skill set is exceptional, it’s Emma’s heart that sets her apart. She sees the potential in every dog, even when others have given up. She believes deeply in their ability to change — and in the power of calm leadership to unlock that transformation.

Ask anyone who's met her, human or canine: Emma doesn’t just train dogs — she connects with them. And in her time of working with dogs, there’s one thing that’s never changed — there hasn’t been a dog she’s met that hasn’t kissed her. They all love her.
